Zack Rouse

Zach Rouse

Writer "Index"

Zack Rouse is a playwright, actor and musician. He has been in the performing arts dimension his whole life, and he will in all likelihood die on stage, or in the booth, or in the dark moldy recesses of a small home studio in the redwoods of Northern California while obsessively molding a four second piece of footage. We keep making the work. We don’t do it for fame, or for money, or for adoration. Ego is a phantom. The work is the muscle of a redwood tree. We are the tree as it watches itself grow. Our human job is to entertain, educate, make the community think new thoughts, and open deeper channels of love and communication. That is all. The tree keeps growing. Also, scary things are fun and funny things are funny.  –ZR
